Plot Summary: Morgan, known to her close friends as "Mo", is torn between a persona that was created for her and the one she left behind. Her fiancé is sweet and loves her children as if they are his own, yet she struggles to feel the same way he feels about her. Her first love was passionate and everything she wanted, but left her alone and scared to find another man that brings her back to life. That is, until Meek comes back into the picture. He was always there, a friend of her ex, yet she had no idea how he felt about her until now. She's caught between a man who is respectable and kind, and a man who fills her with a passion that she has been missing all of this time. Little does she know, Meek might not be the only man coming back from her past...

Subject Headings: Adultery Fiction; Women; Sexual Behavior Fiction; Triangles (Interpersonal relations) Fiction; Secrecy Fiction

Appeal: This is a fast-paced novel that is moved by its storyline and characterizations. Amidst the complexity of the storyline, there is a powerful feminine undertone that is infectious. Morgan's friend and her relationship with men is equally exciting and complex. There is a clear difference made between Mo's fiancé and Meek, the life she feels was created for her and the life she tried to escape. Even from the pain she experienced, she feels a passion with Meek that she could never feel with Bash. The language is not suitable for children, and is authentic to conversations people might have in real life. In this book fairytales don't exist, and each love story has a potential for passion and danger.

3 terms that best describe this book: fast-paced; sexual; suspenseful

  1. Oooh this one sounds spicy! I honestly find some romances too boring, so maybe something with more drama and suspense, like this one, would be fun to read. Thanks for sharing this!
